Przemyslaw Lasak

He was born in 1958 in Opole. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in the studio of Krystyna Cybińska in 1986. For the best diploma he received the rector’s award and the award of the Minister of Culture and Art. After graduation, he was employed at his alma mater, from 2002 as a full professor.

The techniques used by Przemysław Lasak are ceramics and sculpture as well as oil painting. The artist is the author of ceramic cycles consisting of life-size sculptures depicting human figures.

Przemysław Lasak is the winner of the gold medal at the 47th International Competition of Artistic Ceramics in Faenza in 1991. He was also a participant of the international ceramic open-air Porcelain otherwise in Wałbrzych, painting open-air in Kamion, Szczyrk and Mikołów.
