Małgorzata Dajewska

(born in 1958 in Sosnowiec). She studied at the Glass Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (now the Academy of Fine Arts), where she had the opportunity to gain professional skills under the guidance of such outstanding artists as Zbigniew Horbowy or Jerzy Chodurski. She creates her works of optical glass, among others, and is the first artist to use this material in her work, thus setting a trend in the glass of the 1980s in Wrocław. including – what is characteristic – engraved texts of her authorship. She is a researcher at her alma mater, where in 2001 she was awarded the title of full professor. He runs an art glass studio.

In 2012, she was awarded the “Meritorious for Polish Culture” badge awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2013, she was awarded the Gloria Artis Silver Medal, also by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
