Karol Badyna – in 1988 he graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and in 2011 became its professor. From the beginning of his artistic activity, he has devoted a significant part of his attention to sacred art.
His output also includes many monumental projects – in Poland and abroad. These include: Monuments of Jan Zachwatowicz and Wojciech Korfanty in Warsaw, Józef Piłsudski with his daughters in Sulejówek or Maria Konopnicka in Legionowo, as well as abroad: the Monument to Arthur Rubinstein at the United Nations headquarters in New York, or Fryderyk Chopin in Singapore.
Decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit, Silver Cross of Merit and the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.
