Iwona Miliszewska-Nosko studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts. Jan Matejko in Krakow. Diploma with honors in the studio of prof. Józef Sękowski in 2000. She is also a graduate of the Postgraduate Studies in Theater and Television Scenography (diploma under the supervision of Prof. Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda in 2002).

Childhood is extraordinary because it comes back as soon as we let our memories revive – just like the author does. Closing his eyes, he goes into the magical world of what was. For her, memory is a force that triggers extremely creative solutions. The sculptures that we can see reflect everything that her childhood is associated with. The artist sees them as a world extremely intensified emotionally and sensually. This world is full of big dreams, countless ideas, unwavering faith that anything can happen. “In the children’s world, you can discover an unknown land, climb the tallest tree, or become a king,” says the artist herself.
