Małgorzata ET BER Warlikowska
Diploma in Graphic Arts in 1996 at the Academy of Fine Arts. Eugeniusz Geppert in Wrocław. Employed at her alma mater since 1997, currently runs the Graphic Expansion Studio.
She received a scholarship at the University of Akron, Ohio (USA) in 2000 and in 2015 an artistic residency at Arts Chiyoda (Tokyo, Japan). Nominated for the Polityka Passport in the field of Fine Arts in 2003. She participated in over 80 individual and over 300 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including: the International Linocut Triennial (Prague, Czech Republic); Polish Eagles (Korea, China) ; Contemporary Poland – Young Polish Printmaking (Niespektywana, Warlikowska, Walicki) Gallery Öst, Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Stockholm, Sweden); Biennale of European Ceramics Context 2010 – Bornholm Art Museum (Denmark); Place – the Quest for the Quest (Janik , Warlikowska, Hlawacz) – 3331 Arts Chiyoda Tokyo; Before the Object – Gallery Maniere Noir (Berlin, Germany); IAP Awards 2017 (Beijing, China); Opus Duarum – Titanic Gallery (Vilnius, Lithuania).
As an Artist / Visiting Professor, Warlikowska gave lectures in Poland and abroad, incl. in the USA, Sweden, Lithuania, Australia, Portugal, Czech Republic, China, England. Since 2006, together with XY Anka Mierzejewska, he creates the Stary Banan artistic group, organizing performative activities in public space. Since 2018, he has been working on a permanent basis as an illustrator in the Imago project with Bronka Nowicka, winner of the Nike Award.
An undisciplined artist. He works in many techniques, specializes in graphics on sculpture. He deals with printmaking, sculpture and painting. She created, among others, series: Logorea, Lalopatia, Eat Your Mother, Born to be KING … kong, Ja – Moloch, Woman Thoughts, KaKa PooPoo Project, Eating Marilyn Monroe, Ricochet, BDD– Dysmorfobia, Toxic Lollipop.
